Let’s admit it is a very disputable question. Translation, its types. What is translation and what is interpreting? Is there any difference?
Firstly, in order to figure out if there’s a difference between these two phenomena the definition of both concepts must be presented. Translation is the communication of meaning from one language (the source) to another language (the target). The purpose of translation is to convey the original tone and intent of a message, taking into account cultural and regional differences between the source and target languages. (more…)
