German translation
Certified German translation for the German-speaking community in Dubai and for businesses working with Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Engineering, legal and commercial specialists, certified where the authority requires it.
Professional German translation in Dubai and the UAE
Effective communication decides outcomes in the corporate world, and we provide German translation in Dubai and the UAE to support German-speaking clients in their business ventures. Services are shaped around the client, with translations that read naturally to the audience receiving them.
Dubai draws tourists, multinationals and people relocating for work or study. Accurate German translation matters both to the German-speaking community here and to UAE organisations that need to communicate clearly in multilingual conferences, meetings and negotiations.
German is also the language of a great deal of engineering and manufacturing documentation. Technical manuals, safety data sheets, specifications and compliance material demand a translator who knows the field, not only the language — see document translation.

About the language
German is the most widely spoken native language in Europe and an official language in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg and Belgium. It is a language of engineering, science, law and manufacturing, which is reflected in the documents that reach us.
Its compound words and long, tightly structured sentences are the practical challenge in translation. A German technical sentence often has to become two or three in Arabic or English to stay readable, which is a decision a specialist translator makes and a general one usually does not.
German text also expands when translated into some languages and contracts when translated from German into others, which matters for websites, software interfaces and e-learning where the layout is fixed.

FAQ
Yes, and it is much of what we are asked for. Manuals, specifications, safety data sheets, patents and compliance documentation are assigned to translators with an engineering or scientific background, because the terminology is where a generalist translation of German technical writing goes wrong.
Yes. Where the document is going to a UAE court, ministry or government department, we provide a Ministry of Justice certified translation, stamped and signed by a licensed translator. For universities, employers, banks and embassies, a certified translation on our company letterhead is normally what is required. Tell us the destination and we will issue the right one.
Short documents such as a certificate are typically ready in about four hours when we receive them during office hours, Monday to Saturday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. Longer documents and rarer subject areas are usually returned within 24 to 48 hours. We confirm the timeline with your quote.
Price depends on the length of the document, the language pair, the subject and whether you need certification, notarisation or a hard copy. Send us a scan and you will get a fixed price rather than an estimate that moves later.
Yes. German work is done by native speakers of the target language who also have a background in the subject — legal, medical, technical or commercial — because terminology is where a fluent but non-specialist translation comes apart.
A clear scan or photograph is enough for the translation itself. If the authority receiving it requires a stamped hard copy, we produce one for collection at our office on Sheikh Zayed Road or for courier.
They will if you send us the passport spelling. Transliterating a name into or out of Arabic has more than one valid answer, and a translation that disagrees with the passport is the most common reason a document is sent back. Send both together and we match them exactly.
Yes. We provide German interpreters for meetings, hearings, medical appointments and conferences, on site across the UAE or remotely. See interpretation services for the modes available.
Yes. Access is restricted, handling is secure, and your document is used only for your translation. An NDA is available on request, and it is signed as a matter of course for corporate and legal work.
