Russian translation
Certified Russian translation for one of Dubai’s largest expatriate communities and for the businesses that trade with them. Native Russian translators, Ministry of Justice certified where the authority requires it.
Professional Russian translation in Dubai and the UAE
Effective communication drives business growth, and in a city where multilingual and multicultural communities meet, accurate translation stops being optional. We provide Russian translation in Dubai and the UAE so clients can deal with authorities, banks and partners without the language being the obstacle.
AGATO provides Russian to English, Russian to Arabic, English to Russian and Arabic to Russian translation. Our Russian translators are linguistically proficient and culturally adept, and they handle certificates, business proposals, marketing material, academic scripts and manuals.
Property purchases, company formation and residency applications generate most of the certified Russian work we see, and every one of those documents has to reach an authority in Arabic. See legal translation for the certified side.

About the language
Russian is the most widely spoken Slavic language and one of the six official languages of the United Nations, with speakers across Russia, Central Asia, the Caucasus and large diaspora communities — Dubai’s among the most established.
It is written in Cyrillic, which creates a practical problem that catches people out: a Russian name can be transliterated into the Latin alphabet in several defensible ways, and a passport, a property deed and a translated certificate that disagree will be questioned.
So we ask for the passport spelling with every document and follow it exactly, across the whole file rather than one document at a time. It is the single most common cause of a Russian document being returned by a UAE authority.

FAQ
We follow your passport exactly, and we ask for it with every document. A Cyrillic name can be transliterated into the Latin alphabet several valid ways, so a certificate, a deed and a visa application that spell it differently will be queried. Sending the passport with the document prevents that.
Yes, and they are much of our Russian workload. Title deeds, sale agreements, powers of attorney, memoranda and articles of association, and shareholder resolutions are all handled, with Ministry of Justice certification where the receiving authority requires it.
Yes. Where the document is going to a UAE court, ministry or government department, we provide a Ministry of Justice certified translation, stamped and signed by a licensed translator. For universities, employers, banks and embassies, a certified translation on our company letterhead is normally what is required. Tell us the destination and we will issue the right one.
Short documents such as a certificate are typically ready in about four hours when we receive them during office hours, Monday to Saturday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. Longer documents and rarer subject areas are usually returned within 24 to 48 hours. We confirm the timeline with your quote.
Price depends on the length of the document, the language pair, the subject and whether you need certification, notarisation or a hard copy. Send us a scan and you will get a fixed price rather than an estimate that moves later.
Yes. Russian work is done by native speakers of the target language who also have a background in the subject — legal, medical, technical or commercial — because terminology is where a fluent but non-specialist translation comes apart.
A clear scan or photograph is enough for the translation itself. If the authority receiving it requires a stamped hard copy, we produce one for collection at our office on Sheikh Zayed Road or for courier.
They will if you send us the passport spelling. Transliterating a name into or out of Arabic has more than one valid answer, and a translation that disagrees with the passport is the most common reason a document is sent back. Send both together and we match them exactly.
Yes. We provide Russian interpreters for meetings, hearings, medical appointments and conferences, on site across the UAE or remotely. See interpretation services for the modes available.
Yes. Access is restricted, handling is secure, and your document is used only for your translation. An NDA is available on request, and it is signed as a matter of course for corporate and legal work.
